Building a Digital Double that answers questions in your own voice is one thing; turning it into a monthly subscription product is a separate step most creators skip.

On Constants, a Digital Double, an AI agent trained to represent you, can be sold as its own subscription product instead of getting buried as a line item inside a broader membership tier. That distinction matters: a Double is often the single most compelling thing on a creator's page, and hiding it behind a membership full of unrelated perks means most visitors never realize it's there. This is the same idea behind a free trial on any subscription product, just built directly into the chat instead of requiring a separate signup flow or coupon code.

Chatbot builders and no-code AI tools can spin up a similar assistant, but they leave the actual selling part to you: a separate payment link, a manual allowlist, a support inbox to track who paid. Constants treats the subscription itself as a normal shop item, so the billing, the access check, and the page listing are one system instead of three.

What Agent Access actually is

Agent Access is a standalone item type, alongside digital products, bookings, events, and memberships. Each Agent Access product unlocks exactly one Double and carries its own monthly Stripe subscription; it isn't built on top of the membership system, so creating one doesn't touch your existing membership tiers, and a creator can run both side by side without conflict.

Setting it up

From Shop, Create, pick Agent Access. Add a photo, a description, and a price, then choose which Double the product unlocks. No membership level or benefit gets created behind the scenes; the item itself carries the connection to the Double directly, which is why editing the price or swapping which Double it unlocks later is a normal edit to the product, not a rebuild. Once activated, it shows up automatically in the Agents section of your landing page, right alongside Shop and Links, with a Subscribe button on the card.

Letting people try before they buy

Every visitor gets five free messages with the Double before hitting a paywall that points straight at the subscribe button, not a generic "membership required" message. Lead with your Double's strongest, most specific answers early in a preview conversation; five turns is enough to prove real expertise but short enough that a genuinely interested visitor converts before running out.

Pricing it as its own product

The price is entirely up to the creator, billed monthly. Because Agent Access is decoupled from the membership engine, changing the price later mints a new subscription price without disturbing anyone already subscribed at the old rate.

If you run a team account

Team-tier communities get one more advantage: buying an Agent Access subscription while active in a team shares that Double with the whole team, not just whoever made the purchase, the same way a team-created agent already gets shared internally. A three-person team that subscribes to one research-focused Double through a single Agent Access purchase gets three seats worth of access from that one subscription. A Personal or Premium community has no one else to share with, so this only matters once a page is run by more than one person.

Where this fits on the page

Agent Access works best alongside whatever else is already for sale, not instead of it. Turning one page into multiple revenue streams covers how a Double, a digital product, and a booking type can sit on the same page without competing for attention. Everything described here is available on the free Starter plan; see the pricing page for what's included on each tier.
