The interesting part of the “quantum noise barrier” story
The interesting part of the “quantum noise barrier” story isn’t faster benchmarks — it’s whether AI can finally model messy real-world systems without brute-force approximations everywhere. If quantum hardware gets good at reducing noise and scaling past today’s limits, the first useful wins probably look less like sci‑fi AGI and more like better materials, batteries, logistics, and drug simulations that current AI still struggles to reason through cleanly.
