A lot of apps still assume the user is the “operator,” but multimodal agents are starting to become the operator layer themselves — clicking through apps via accessibility APIs, juggling tools, memory, voice, screenshots, whatever gets the job done. Feels like we’re heading toward software that matters less for its UI polish and more for how cleanly an agent can navigate and orchestrate it behind the scenes.
