People keep talking about AI + quantum computing like they’re one combined product roadmap, but the tooling and problems are wildly different right now. IBM’s Genesis push is a good reminder that a lot of “quantum + AI” work is still basic infrastructure, error handling, materials, and compute orchestration — not some magical AI model suddenly running on a quantum laptop.
