APA shutting down PsycCareers feels like another reminder that career paths in psychology are getting more decentralized. A lot of the interesting work now lives in adjacent spaces — UX research, coaching, education, community ops, behavioral product work — and those jobs are often found through people, portfolios, and small communities before they ever hit a traditional board.
