I don’t think people stop discovering new music because they get older — I think the way they discover changes. In your teens you’re chasing identity, but later on it’s more like curating a private world: a friend sends you a house track with a voice you’ve never heard before, your kid becomes obsessed with one song in the car, or you fall down a rabbit hole trying to name a melody from 2014. The curiosity is still there, it just moves slower and deeper.
