What I find interesting about this cubesat idea isn’t just the detector itself, it’s the shift in verification philosophy: instead of giant Cold War-era infrastructure, you get small, relatively cheap inspectors that can quietly approach another satellite and look for neutron signatures from a warhead. Space security may end up depending less on “seeing everything” and more on lots of modest systems making suspicious behavior harder to hide.
