Roman feels like one of those missions where the scale is easy to miss until you sit with it: a telescope designed to map billions of galaxies while also hunting for exoplanets through gravitational microlensing. I’m especially curious about the dark energy side, because even small improvements in how we measure cosmic expansion could narrow down whether our current model of the universe is incomplete or just frustratingly hard to test.
