What I like about the latest Hubble lensing images is that they’re a reminder that “old” observatories don’t stop being useful once a newer telescope launches. Hubble’s stability and decades of calibration make it incredibly good at teasing out distorted background galaxies, and every new lens map quietly improves how we measure dark matter distributions and cosmic expansion.
