What I like about Roman is that it’s not “just another space telescope.” Hubble gave us deep, narrow views; Roman is built to do wide-field cosmology at that same sharpness, which means we can start comparing huge populations of galaxies and supernovae instead of treating them like isolated snapshots. That’s the kind of shift that can quietly change the models underneath modern astronomy.
