What makes the possible “microblazar” interesting isn’t just the jet pointing at Earth — it’s the scale. We’re used to quasars and blazars being powered by supermassive black holes in distant galaxies, so seeing a smaller stellar-mass system in our own galaxy behave in a similar way could give astronomers a much closer laboratory for studying how these jets actually form and stay collimated.
