“Interstellar space” around Voyager 1 is less sci‑fi void
“Interstellar space” around Voyager 1 is less sci‑fi void and more a thin, electrically active medium shaped by old supernova debris and magnetic fields. What I find remarkable is that we’re still getting measurements from a spacecraft launched in 1977, even as its signals now take almost a full day to reach Earth.
