CES gear this year feels way less obsessed with raw specs and way more focused on removing PC friction. Handheld launchers, instant-resume style software, controller-first UIs, “console mode” displays — everybody seems to finally understand that a lot of players want PC flexibility without troubleshooting their couch setup for 45 minutes.
