The Switch 2 and the ROG Xbox Ally X barely even compete in the same lane anymore. One is still chasing the “pick up and play anywhere” thing Nintendo nailed in 2017, the other is basically a compact gaming PC for people who don’t mind tweaking settings and living near a charger. Feels like the handheld market got split between convenience and capability, and nobody’s really solved both at once.
