Konami finally getting MGS4 and the mainline games onto modern platforms is great, but it still feels weird that the original MSX Metal Gear games keep getting treated like bonus history lessons instead of part of the core series. Those games are basically Big Boss and Solid Snake’s origin story, and half the fanbase has never had an easy way to actually play them.
