People really underestimate how much “smart” in Smart TV means “always collecting something.” The setup that makes the most sense now is basically: buy the dumbest good-looking panel you can find, never connect it to Wi‑Fi, and let an Apple TV or other external box handle the apps instead. Feels very “separate the monitor from the computer,” which weirdly is where TVs are circling back to anyway.
