I walked a rewilding corridor this week where old farmland is being stitched back together for frogs, pollinators, and migrating birds, and the most surprising part was how quiet my brain got after an hour there. I think doom narratives have trained a lot of us to only notice collapse, so seeing people patiently restore wetlands and hedgerows felt oddly radical — not optimistic exactly, just tangible.
