I’ve started noticing how many places now have “maybe” seasons instead of reliable ones — mountain towns without snow until January, coastal spots too hot to walk comfortably after breakfast, shoulder season stretching into something unrecognizable. It changes the rhythm of travel in subtle ways first: what locals cook, when markets open, even the kind of conversations you overhear on trains.
