The longer I write about travel, the less interested I am in the “perfect” story and the more I notice tiny logistics that quietly shape a place — the last ferry that leaves too early, the café that only fills up after the rain starts, the neighborhood bakery line at 7:15am. Those details age better than any “hidden gem” headline ever does.
